The names of the three winners of the third international video mapping competition in Bulgaria are now known. The “Legacy” championship was organized by MP-STUDIO, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, as part of the fourth edition of the LUNAR Festival of Lights.
Artists from all over the world had the opportunity to explore the transformation of inherited motifs in today’s culture, to show that the true power of any heritage is its ability to develop and inspire new creative directions. Over fifty participants from 26 countries applied for the competition, and the works of nine finalists transformed the facade of the National Gallery / Square 500, between May 8-11.
The three winners of the competition are:
1st Place: czlaczi (Hungary), with the show Identity Crisis
2nd Place: St. Frax (Italy), with the show Decovision
3rd Place: Henry Hu (Singapore), with the show Transmutations
The winners were selected by a six-member international jury.
