When the Мoon rises, the LUNAR lights will be turned on to transform one of the most iconic locations in Sofia – the Largo.

Five years after its founding, LUNAR Festival will present its most spectacular edition yet – the world’s largest international immersive video mapping competition.

This large-scale cultural event will celebrate Sofia Day (September 17) by bringing together artists from around the world to create works specifically for the city. The special edition of LUNAR: The Lights of Sofia will take place between September 17 and 20, 2026, inclusive.
