LUNAR is organized by the Bulgarian studio, specialized in 3D projection mapping and interactive visual solutions for events MP-STUDIO. The company is founded in 2018 and has over 450 projects in more than 25 countries.
MP-STUDIO created the first 3D projection mapping in Bulgaria in 2011, which transformed the façade of the National Theater “Ivan Vazov”. The artists are popular among the Bulgarian public with the light shows for Day of Europe in 2017 and 2018, which told colorful stories on the façades of the National Art Gallery and Council of Ministers in Sofia, and with the first guest edition of Festival of Lights in Plovdiv in 2019. The studio creates the LUNAR Festival of Lights in 2022, which gathered more than half a million visitors.
LUNAR will be realized in a cooperation with one of the best known light art festivals in the world. It is organized for the first time in Berlin in 2005 and for the 19 years from its existence it has transformed hundreds of landmarks, monuments, buildings, streets and squares in the German capital and many cities all over the world: Augsburg, Dubai, Kuwait, Napa, New York, Plovdiv, Seattle, Zagreb, Zwickau, etc.
